In my last article, I mentioned making a list of things to complete, clear out, and release before the end of the year. If you haven’t done so, there’s still time to check a few off before the new moon, because come January 2,(10:33 a.m. pacific) you’ll want to be ready to take advantage of the opportunities that arise.
And, yes, opportunities will arise. Most of the aspects in this new moon chart are in harmony. With the exception of the Saturn/Uranus square that has been the defining aspect of 2021, we mostly have planets helping each other out.
Case in point: Mars and Saturn in good aspect want to work together in order to achieve work goals and ambitions. Make a plan, then get started on the work.
And while retro Venus is still a little close to Pluto–it’s a good time to take out the trash of love/money beliefs that no longer serve you–the planet of romance and finance is friendly with Neptune, the planet of spirituality and unconditional love.
Of course the other side of the coin is illusion and suitors/purchases that are too-good-to-be-true. The remedy for both of these is the Capricorn Purchase technique. Rather than committing on the spot, give things a 24-hour period for meditation and reflection. Ask yourself “is this for my highest good?” And if it is, it will still be there tomorrow.
And of course the sun and moon being conjunct, the defining aspect of a new moon, makes things flow more smoothly because the head and heart are speaking the same language. And that language is the language of accomplishment, practicality and progress. Uranus, the visionary planet of innovation and revolution is in favorable aspect to the sun and moon, making change a little easier to envision, create and navigate.
Oh, and good news for those with Pisces and water sign affiliations: Jupiter has just moved into the sign of the fish. Pisces is a lucky placement for the planet of good fortune. This also means that Piscean pursuits (healing work, creativity, meditation) are extra-favored for the next five months (at which time Jupiter moves into Aries, before retro-ing back in October for a couple of months). So yay, fellow therapists and healers of all stripes, yogis and creatives 🙂
I’ll leave you with my favorite tip for the new year: choose 4 areas of your life in which to focus your energy in 2022. Then pick your 3 or 4 big goals for the year. Place these 2 lists where you can see them every day. Tie everything you do to these goals, especially the stuff you typically resist.
As always, if you need support on bringing these visions to life, let’s talk!
