OK, before you read any further, take out a blank piece of paper and write down five things you want to complete before the end of the year. The operative word here is complete. I’ll wait.
Great. You are ready for one of my favorite full moons of the year, the “Out with the Old” moon. You might work a little with the list, but no need to go too crazy. Let’s operate by the principle of first thought, best thought. As in: what springs to mind first, before you’ve had a chance to “think about it” is what most needs attention. You can add other stuff once those items get done.
And speaking of thinking, there’s going to be an abundance of that going on, what with a busy Gemini full moon. Gemini is both genius and scatterbrained. So if you want more of the former and less of the latter, getting focused now and having a plan for the next two weeks is key. Also, the more meditation and meditative pursuits, the better.
Because this is going to be a whirlwind couple of weeks, and that is a good thing. It’s the kind of energy you want on your holiday break, festive, social and intellectually stimulating. There are brilliant ideas, kindred spirits, and a wonderful abundance of creativity swirling around in the ethers!
But it’s also a time to attend to the deep spiritual work that is coming up so that you can have a major shift in perspective to take into the new year. I have been talking about this for a while, but with Venus, the planet of love and money conjunct the transformer, Pluto, we all have a unique opportunity to shift core beliefs around love and money now.
So, if it’s not already on your list, add the belief you need to shift to your list. OK, now put the list up on your wall. Remember, we’re still working with Saturn, as the planet of accountability and discipline is still locked in a square with Uranus, which means: have a strategic plan to change the world. And changing the world starts with your inner landscape.
Jupiter is the most aspected planet in this lunar chart. And that also is both good news and bad. The good news, in my opinion, far outweighs the bad, and particularly if you take the time to meditate and focus every day, always coming back to what you’ve said is most important to achieve.
Jupiter is the planet of luck, and in late-degree Aquarius, it falls in favorable aspect to both the sun in Sagittarius and the moon in Gemini. This is part of the luck, opportunity (remember everything is opportunity), brilliance, and change swirling around in the air. Take time to meditate, or take a meditative walk, and watch what you are guided to do. then do it. Jupiter in this aspect, if you work with it, will put you in the right place at the right time.
The other side of the Jupiter coin is too many bright, shiny objects flying around. So many tempting offers, so many pitches for your attention, time and money. Again, if you take time to filter everything through your internal guidance, you can avoid a lot of buyer’s remorse in all its different forms over the next two weeks.
More good news: communications in all its forms, is favored, lively and engaging. Working writers will enjoy the next two weeks mainly because there will be no shortage of topics to write about. But getting your work out into the world is also still favored. Any writing projects to complete? It’s the perfect time to do so. Mercury retro is headed our way in January, so the more communications you can accomplish, plan out and pre-load now, the better.
Yep, there could be a little drama, but that’s just the nature of a full moon, especially following eclipses. Mostly, it looks like fun and adventure. And with the sun in Sag, a pinch of knowing not to take things personally will go a long way, too.
